ICASE works in partnership with the Indiana Department of Education on two programs to expand and enhance the education of Indiana special education administrators.

Aspiring Statewide Special Education Teacher (ASSET)

ASSET is an approved alternative licensure program through the Indiana Department of Education and Indiana State Board of Education. ASSET falls under the Transition to Teaching umbrella, but does not award an initial teaching license. The ICASE sponsored program is for currently licensed Indiana educators to be able to add a special education teaching credential.

Aspiring Special Education Leadership Institute (ASELI)

ASELI's goal is to create an inclusive and multicultural educational landscape by recruiting highly qualified diverse candidates, especially those who have been traditionally underrepresented in special education leadership.
