VISION : What do we see in place for ICASE in the next three years?

• Increased and involved membership

• Organized system of support

• Initiate and influence legislation and policy development

• Influential partnerships with educational leadership organizations

• Systematic professional learning plan

• Cultivate, recruit, and retain personnel

• Stronger partnerships with parent leadership groups

• Increase national involvement

• Improved student outcomes

BARRIERS : What are the obstacles that block us from our vision?

• Unarticulated operating structure

• Competing priorities

• Unidentified personal benefits and value of CASE/ICASE

• Unarticulated plan of support

• Varying perspectives with parent groups

• Unrecognized value of ICASE

• Conflicting values regarding national perspective
