North Central Roundtable
This one-day training brings the Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports (PBIS) framework into the classroom. The session will focus on addressing challenging behaviors while emphasizing prevention though supportive environments, engaging instruction and a focus on the development of social- emotional competencies in young children. Principles of effective classroom organization and behavior management will be discussed. Participants will leave with strategies appropriate for use in PreK through 3rd grade classrooms for young children who display disruptive behavior and/or deficits in behavioral and emotional self-regulation.
