ASSET PROGRAM DIRECTOR

ICASE is pleased to share the opportunity to join our leadership team as the Director of the Aspiring Statewide Special Education Teacher (ASSET) alternative licensure program. ICASE is a professional association of special education leaders in Indiana. The mission of ICASE is to provide leadership, support, and professional development to empower our members in shaping policies and practices to improve the quality of education for all students. ICASE is addressing the special education teacher shortage with our Indiana State Board of Education approved program which will allow currently licensed educators in Indiana to be able to add special education teaching credentials. ASSET removes the barriers of time and money that traditionally stand in the way of successful completion of licensure add-ons. We’ve aligned the standards from the Council for Exceptional Children and will be leveraging field expertise and practice opportunities through our 11-month program.
ICASE will soon be selecting the Director for this cutting-edge program. The Director will provide leadership and support for the development and implementation of the ASSET program.

Interested applicants should submit a letter of interest and resume to asset.indiana@gmail.com. Interviews will be conducted as interest is received from qualified applicants. The contract is anticipated to start by June 1, 2022. This is a contracted position with ICASE. It is anticipated that the position will require ~120 days per year. We anticipate the need for this position for at least three years.
